There is a lot of publicity and popularity regarding teeth whitening and associated potential sensitivity. Brite Smile and Zoom along with some tray procedures have dominated the market, but I have found these to be not as effective as the KOR whitening technique that I now use.
The KOR technique combines the use of a well fitted tray for both home and office use. Home use for two weeks is sandwiched by two in-office procedures, thus producing fantastic results in just a little more than two weeks. Desensitizing solutions are always used and these TOTALLY eliminate any hypersensitivity. The difference between the two in-office bleaching procedures and the take-home bleaching is the different types of bleach that is used. At home you will use a very safe carbamide peroxide gel, and in the office a much stronger hydrogen peroxide mixture is used. Your teeth can be white in as little as 2 ½ weeks and easily maintained by only using the tray at home one night a month.
