Hi everybody!! Cappia Café & Catering is located ½ block south of The Green on Market St., directly across from the new 40 Park Complex, and 3 blocks west of the Community Theater. It is a comfortable and casual eatery warmly decorated in terracotta, brick and wood, open for breakfast and lunch Mon – Sat, and dinner, Wed - Sat. We have a separate dining room and a clean sleek deli and kitchen where we turn out an array of Italian and American specialties including pasta, meat, seafood, and vegetarian dishes. For lunch, we have daily hot entrée specials, soups, and over 70 specialty subs, panini, wraps and salads that keep residents, commuters, and business people coming back day after day. Everything is homemade and fresh every day.

Although the menu is predominately Italian, we have other favorites as well, such as overstuffed sloppy Joes, clubs, and “lite” weight sandwiches. We also serve hot breakfast platters, egg sandwiches on Italian rolls and fresh bakery products.

For dinner, we have wait service and BYOB. A separate dinner menu features old world specialties and traditional favorites. We guarantee you will not leave hungry. And while it’s unlikely, if you don’t see something you want on our menus, and we have the ingredients – we’ll gladly make it. Service is quick and friendly, and we deliver anywhere within Morristown and surrounding towns. We also have an extensive catering menu and party planning service for any occasion, and the dining room can be used for private parties.

John,

     I want to thank you so much for all the amazing catering job you did for Jorden and his film crew. You assisted me from more than 2000 miles away and you made it turn out amazing! The food was sent each day for lunch and dinner for the entire week. Each dish delicious and perfectly prepared. The crew loved each and every meal and still are raving about it.

    Thank you also for configuring the meals to make sure there was enough food for the 15 people on the set and also to set aside special dishes for the vegan in the group.

   Having the cake made by your bakery and you going out of your way to decorate it was above and beyond what I have ever seen anyone do. The crew was totally surprised and shocked when they saw the cake! Loved it!! I wish I were there to have witnessed it all.

Thank you John so much and thank you to your amazing crew at Cappia Cafe! Thank you thank you thank you!!! I hope to stop in and dine in the Cafe when we are on the East Coast this December and to meet such a helpful generous person such as yourself!

I wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you for the delicious food

you provided for my son's Communion this past weekend. The party was

everything I hoped for and a large part of that can be attributed to

the food. I could not have been happier with the menu you helped me

put together. I have never catered a party where I received so many

compliments on the food. Everything was delicious!! I also

appreciated that when I needed to reduce some of the menu items due to

the smaller guest list, you could not have been more accommodating.

Where other caterers might have tried to talk me into keeping the menu

the same, you made suggestions we would not have thought of. Truly

professional on your part.

I also appreciate you putting me in touch with The Super Servers.

Cindi worked our party and she was great.

Without Cappia Cafe and The Super Servers, my son's Communion party

would not have been the special and memorable event it was.

Thank you...and we will see you again next spring when my younger son

makes his Communion.

Hi. The party was great and the food and service were excellent. Everyone raved about the food and Patty was awesome. She worked very hard, stayed on top of things and was independent, low maintenance and resourceful. The only thing I had left to do was put away the desserts and wash about 10 wine glasses. Otherwise, she did everything.

All in all, it was an excellent experience and we will certainly be back!

July 27, 2010 - Likes it - We just had our son and daughter-in-law's wedding rehearsal dinner there last Friday night. WOW! They really know how to create food for one thing! Everything was extremely delicious -- and what variety for a truly reasonable price. Many people afterwards told me how much they LOVED the food and the service and the relaxed atmosphere. They don't rush you from course to course! And it's just our style to relax and take our tme, enjoying friends and family, some we hadn't seen in a while, at this very special gathering. So Cappia Cafe suited us perfectly. If you like cozy, but not cramped and Italian cuisine at its best, this place is for you! Not only that, but the managers and servers were SO friendly and just so nice. Thank you Cappia. Thank you John and Anthony! P.S. If you go after 8:00 p.m. the parking meters are free, or else park in the development beyond the main core.

I have been here for lunch several times, for a quiet dinner with my boyfriend and a holiday dinner that a local business that my daughter works for sponsored and I loved it every time! I am most impressed with the dinner - the meal choices were wonderful, prices were reasonable, the setting intimate and warm, and the service was excellent. I will be coming again soon and will also highly recommend it to all my friends! My only wish would be that you were open Saturday evening as well.
